Abstract

According to the World Health Organization, communication for health encompasses the study and use of communication strategies to inform and influence individual and community decisions that improve health. Communication is the transmission of messages between a sender and a receiver; It is a very powerful tool that, if used optimally, can have a favorable impact on the population, in several aspects. Communication for health could be of great help in informing people about issues that are essential for maintaining good health.
